Our History
Established in 1985, Crabbs Prairie Volunteer Fire Department has been serving our community for over 40 years. Our department has grown to include two stations, a moderate fleet of fire trucks, and highly trained firefighters.


Our Mission
The mission of the Crabbs Prairie Volunteer Fire Department Inc. is to minimize loss of life, property, and the environment in the area it serves from fires, natural disasters and life-threatening situations. The department will provide fire suppression, rescue and first responder services to emergencies within its service area. The department’s mission will be accomplished by the effective use of its volunteers and physical resources to provide high-quality, cost-efficient emergency services.
Our Services
Crabbs Prairie Volunteer Fire Department offers a wide range of services to the community including fire suppression, FRO medical response, rescue operations, hazardous materials response, and community outreach programs.
